Number One Professional Video Resume Firm On The Web

It hasn't been easy, in fact it's been more work than I ever imagined and the work will continue. Since our official launch on May 19th, 2010 TalentRooster has surpassed 1,800 professional digital video resumes, which makes us number one! Sure there are lots of imitators out there that would have you post your "professional" video on YouTube or like site - don't do it - it's not where the serious job seekers post their videos and certainly not where any employer would bother to look.

The good news is that more and more job seekers and hiring managers are beginning to see the light - video resume technology (or resume intelligence as I like to call it) just makes sense. The idea isn't new, in fact it's been around for ten years or more. However, until recent technological advancements it was virtually impossible to do it right, professionally and consistently without paying through the nose.

Upon selecting a provider, the following are absolutes:

1. It isn't free - although many things on the internet are free, this shouldn't be one of them - it's too important. Do it right and spend less than $40.

2. It is consistent - every video has the same "look and feel" as a traditional resume. Don't be clever or funny - chances are that an employer won't see it as such.

3. It will go into a free searchable database for employers to search and provide a hyperlink for you to market yourself.

4. It enables you to put your entire "intelligent resume" (including traditional resume, video resume, personality profile, relevant test scores, background information, links to social media and more) in one place and on ONE page.

5. You have control of your video resume, meaning YOU can take it down anytime, free of charge.

There are several other critical factors but in today's world people won't read - they prefer to watch the video! Best of luck on your search.
